Nooshin Nikpartow, Registered Midwife

My name is Nooshin Nikpartow. I was born and raised in Iran, and for the past 5 years I have been happy to call Canada my new home. I completed my degree in Midwifery from Mashhad University of Medical Sciences in 1995. My first year of midwifery after graduation was spent in the very busy Bank Melli Hospital in Tehran. I left the hospital to change the pace and focus on my work with women. For the next 10 years I loved my work as an independent midwife offering continuity of care through my private practice in Tehran. In 2006, my husband and I along with our two young daughters left our family and friends to start a new and exciting life in Canada.

Since arriving in Canada I have completed a Masters degree in Community Health and Epidemiology at the University of Saskatchewan and became registered as a midwife in January 2009 and worked in the new midwifery practice in the Saskatoon Health Region.

I moved my family to Abbotsford in June 2011 and I am thrilled to join Valley Midwifery Group in the Fraser Valley.

Midwifery has been my dream and my humble work, to support the incredible process of two hearts, the mother's and her baby's who is coming into this world. It has been such a joy for me to bring my skills to my new home in Canada.
